New Construction Homes - A Better Value Proposition than Preowned Homes

According to new data from Zillow, new construction homes in the U.S. are now cheaper than preowned homes on a cost per square foot basis.  

In the Portland market, new construction homes are selling for a $7.60 per square foot discount compared to preowned homes.
